Meet the Vetta Sports Referees of the Month
Every game at Vetta depends on the person with the whistle. Referees keep players safe, keep the game fair, and set the tone on the field for youth and adult players alike. This month, we’re proud to recognize five Vetta Sports referees of the month who bring the Vetta Way to every match.
John, Concord
John consistently delivers a great experience for our men’s leagues at Concord. He knows the rules, keeps players safe, and is always approachable when players need something. That combination of skill and accessibility makes him a go-to ref for our adult players.
Mike, Manchester
Mike is a senior referee and a longtime professional who continues to officiate at a high level. Beyond his own games, he mentors our newer, younger refs and passes the Vetta Way on to the next generation of officials.
Theo, St. Charles
Theo joined the Vetta team in June 2026 and has quickly become a staple at St. Charles. He understands the Vetta Way, referees consistently, and steps in on other shifts whenever he can. We’re excited to see him continue to grow with our team.
Fuad, Soccerdome and Manchester
This isn’t Fuad’s first time earning this award, and he keeps getting better. He has played and refereed at Vetta for years, starting with youth and high school games. Today, he’s one of our most dependable referees for adult and 8v8 outdoor leagues.
Blake, Concord Youth
Blake has been refereeing for 10 years, and his love of the game shows every time he steps on the field. Players, coaches, and parents all appreciate how clearly he communicates with everyone.
Thank you to our referees
Congratulations to John, Mike, Theo, Fuad, and Blake. The next time you’re at a Vetta game, take a moment to thank the referee. Their work makes every game possible.
